A painful and solemn denial.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
The body surrenders itself without complacency to time, the moment of a snap-shot.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
The processing of the shot blends with that of the body between the expert hands of the beautician.Esthetics considered as truth. Pristine. Focused.Photography, freed from vital necessity, becomes the unquestionable evidence of triumph over&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
photography.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Could it be a triumph over death?&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
We get to a picture expressing the unnamable, the image of a body conveying its own negative. The staging of an essential darkness, the deeds of death recorded on film. A prayer like trance. Light. Rays of sunlight illuminate the body, as if in an attempt to penetrate the secret space of its fantasies.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
The body unwinds darkness like film spool. And the image of the naked body conveys the image, unique,a summary of photography, the image of photography as an art.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Here, one does not take a photo.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
One takes the photo.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
The body maintains that which the picture conveys. Complex dialectics of an eye capturing the&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
invisible.

La photographie dit non &#224; la photographie.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Un non douloureux, grave et douloureux.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Le corps se pr&#234;te sans complaisance au temps n&#233;cessaire d'une prise de vue. Entre les mains expertes de l'esth&#233;ticienne, le traitement de l'image se confond avec celui du corps. L'esth&#233;tique est prise au pied du corps. Travail de propret&#233;. Mise au point. La Photographie extraite alors d'une n&#233;cessit&#233; vitale devient la preuve irr&#233;cusable d'une victoire sur la photographie.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Serait-ce une victoire sur la mort ?&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Et on en vient &#224; une image qui parle de ce qui ne peut &#234;tre nomm&#233;, image du corps qui porte en lui son propre n&#233;gatif. Mise en sc&#232;ne d'une obscurit&#233; essentielle, mise en image du travail de la mort. &#201;tat de pri&#232;re. Lumi&#232;re. Le corps s'expose alors aux rayons d'un soleil qui tente de p&#233;n&#233;trer l'espace secret de son imaginaire.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Tout comme la bobine du film, le corps se pla&#238;t &#224; d&#233;rouler l'obscurit&#233;. Et l'image du corps nu transmet l'image, l'unique, celle qui r&#233;sumerait la photographie, celle qui serait l'image de la photographie.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Ici, on ne prend pas une photographie.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
On prend la photographie.&lt;br class='autobr' /&gt;
Le corps pr&#233;serve ce que la photographie transmet. Dialectique complexe d'un &#339;il qui prend ce qui ne peut &#234;tre vu.
