Trio
What I seek above all in my painting is a breath.
A breath between form, color, and matter: an alchemical trio organized on a surface.
In this series entitled Trio, color, carried by the air in the form of microparticles, settles at the base of the surface.
Then this same color, carried by water, contained within a geometric mask placed at the top of the surface, spreads out as aqua. An ascending movement, a descending movement.
Finally, distributed in groups of eight colors, presented in sets of three, we obtain, through variations of these two movements, a score of 24 plates.
